Basswood Body
The MLX features a lightweight basswood body. Basswood is great for heavier rock and metal styles, delivering a nice even tone that feeds a dirt pedal (or a dimed Marshall) nicely.

Bolt-On Construction
Bolt-on neck construction provides an affordable alternative to set-neck or thru-body designs. The advantage of this design is that if you do have any neck trouble down the line, you can easily replace it.

It took over a year and many trials for the Dean Markley team to find just the precise elliptical shape for the winding wire that make up the patent-pending, Hyper-Elliptical Winding process of the Helix HD. Dual Dean USA wound pickups are installed on each guitar for a full, wide range of tonal possibilities. The natural "open grain" finish shows off the wood. Mahogany Body
As you might have guessed, this guitar is made of Mahogany. A common choice for electrics, this wood dependably delivers a warm, full tone with plenty of punch and sustain.

Set Neck Construction

The Dean Vendetta Series
With four models to choose from, the Vendettas have string-through-body design, classic Dean V Ferrule pattern, dual Humbuckers, a 25.5-inch scale, and solid mahogany bodies with a maple neck. The Vendetta 1.0 and 2.0 are bolt-on models with black hardware. The 2.0 model features a solid flame maple top. The Vendetta 3.0 and 4.0 sport neck-through construction with the Pearl Evil Eye inlay running the length of the fretboard. The 4.0 version has a beautiful quilted maple top and is available in an all too popular "Tiger Eye" finish.

Mahogany Body
As with most of their instruments, Dean uses a mahogany body for the Vendettas. Mahogany is a common choice for electrics, dependably delivering a warm, full tone with plenty of punch and sustain.

The quilted maple top and back means a guitar that looks amazing, and it also focuses and brightens that mahogany tone a bit.

Neck-Through-Body Construction
The Vendetta 4.0 features neck-through construction, which is typically found on high-end instruments. This means maximized sustain, resonance throughout the whole instrument, further tuning stabilization, and (as with set necks) easier access to the upper frets.

The 25.5-inch scale maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearl "Evil Eye" inlays.

Dean M10 Amplifier
The M10 Amp is a compact 10W amp with one 6.5-inch speaker and a stereo headphone jack for private practice.

Dial in your sound with treble, mid and bass controls. Dial in some dirt while you're at it, with the gain control. If you want to take it to palm-muting heaven, use the boost button. A great practice amp for any style.
